  1. -Large-scale extratropical climate variability in the Northern Hemisphere.

  2. -Stratosphere/troposphere coupling.

  3. -Ocean/atmosphere coupled systems.

  4. -Evaluation of the fidelity of coupled general circulation models and their ability to reproduce modes of variability spatially and temporally.
